From the banks of the majestic St. Lawrence River to the two most visited mountains in the National Capital, the Massif de Charlevoix and Mont-Sainte-Anne. The mythical Sentier des Caps, the indomitable Mestachibo trail, and the Jean-Larose Falls will leave no one indifferent. A wild ultra trail, among the most beautiful in the world. 


 

WESTERN STATES ENDURANCE RUN : The QMT 110 KM is a qualifying race for all runners who finish under the 22:00:00

ITRA : 5 ITRA points – Qualifying for all world races that use this system.

COURSE MAP


PACER

Only runners registered for the 110 km race are entitled to a pacer. The segment that will be allowed is the last 29.5 km (Mont-Sainte-Anne sector). It is mandatory to officially register the pacer. To do so, you will have to give your name when you pick up your bib. A special bib will be issued in the name of the accompanying person at a cost of $10 (cash only). He/she must wear it, visible on the front at all times. This person will wait for the runner in the transition zone at the base of Mont-Sainte-Anne where he/she will be able to offer him/her care, material and food.

PREREQUISITE FOR THE QMT 110

The participant must have completed a trail running race* with a minimum of 65 points, taking into account the following:

1 km = 1 point and 100 meters of D + = 1 point, for example: 50 km with 1500 m D + = 50 + 15 = 65 points.

*Maximum two years prior to the current edition of the Quebec Mega Trail. 


 

SHUTTLE

A shuttle will leave from Mont-Sainte-Anne at 3:30 to take participants to the start in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. 


 

MANDATORY EQUIPEMENT 

  • The ability to carry at least 1 liter of water
  • Extra energy and food
  • Survival blanket 1.4 m x 2 m (4.6 ft. x 6.6 ft.)
  • Cap or scarf for protection from the sun
  • Headlamp (from the Mont-Sainte-Anne ravito)
  • Self-adhesive compression bandage (3 inches X 48 inches)
  • Epipen (for runners with allergies to wasp stings or food).
  • Cell phone

PODIUM CEREMONY

The top five men and top five women will be recognized at the podium ceremony.


 

FINISHER GLASS

Every QMT finisher receives a finisher glass of the current edition. As an environmentally conscious organization, we have swapped the medal for the glass. The medal being a non-reusable object, we prefer to give a souvenir item that will allow you to share your memories of the race, with friends or family, over a beer or a beverage of your choice.
