Québec mega trail unveils its free program of activities

Québec Mega Trail (QMT) is proud to unveil its program of 100% free events which will be held throughout the 12th edition, from July 5 to 7, at Mont-Sainte-Anne. From rock music to house and techno, from yoga to obstacle courses: the program includes a range of activities for all tastes.

Festive evenings on the menu

In music, QMT will welcome DJ Mike to mark the start of the QMT-100 MILES at the Hôtel & Spa Le Germain Charlevoix, in Baie-Saint-Paul, on Friday, July 5. Saturday evening, the group The Unplugged Band will take the Mont-Sainte-Anne audience into its madness with unmissable acoustic covers. The band will be preceded by DJ Redo, who will get the crowd dancing with its very eclectic style.

Sunday, QMT promises a wild DJ set with three turntable champions from Quebec region: Bruno M, Justin Blanc and Stormies. Able to burn up dance floors in the biggest events of the city, the DJs will create a summer atmosphere to entertain all visitors.

To take care of yourself

In order to increase the knowledge of outdoor enthusiasts, Catherine Bélanger from PCN Physio will offer a conference about sports nutrition. Yoga teacher Élodie Déry will be happy to relax the audience’s muscles by giving a Vinyasa yoga session on Saturday and Sunday morning. For children, the «Les petits bûcherons» obstacle course will be back again this year. Inflatables, face painting and entertainment will also be on the menu.

Exhibitor booths

Running and outdoor enthusiasts, as well as curious visitors, will be able to wander between the booths of more than ten exhibitors : Salomon, XACT Nutrition, PCN Physio, Faux Mouvement, Planète Nutrition, La Cordée, Coros, Karibu, Icebreaker, Multi-Clinique Parc Santé, Holos, Näak and more. 

Microbrasserie La Souche will be the event’s official partner for its alcoholic refreshments and OUI OUI – Buvette Forestière, a brand new food supplier, will offer a healthy menu composed of Charlevoix specialties.
