Québec Mega Trail (QMT) is pleased to announce that the 2025 and 2026 Canadian Mountain & Trail Running Championships will take place during the event. The competition, which will include a Short Trail Championship of 50 km and a Long Trail Championship of 80 km, will be held on the trails of Côte-de-Beaupré and Charlevoix during the QMT weekend, from July 3 to 6 (2025 edition).

More than 37 elite athletes will participate at its next edition, which will be held from July 4 to 7, 2024. Among these, some 30 elite runners from Québec and Canada will compete in the various QMT events, alongside 7 American representatives and a few European competitors.

The circuit, which includes nine of the most iconic trail running events in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America aims to preserve the fundamental values of the sport and to provide an alternative to global racing with local knowledge and community at its heart.
